What the RC&D does:
RC&D Councils, through county representation, seek out solutions
to problems facing the communities in their counties. Sometimes
the problems are county specific and other times they are problems facing
the entire area. Because the Council is a private corporation,
it can work on any project with any entity, public or private.
Projects are brought to the Council, discussed and voted on by
the members. A yes vote means the Council will allocate resources
to the project. The resources may be financial or technical and
will always have the goal of improving the quality of life for the area's
residents. |
