In order for a project to be
considered by SFRC&D, it must meet the following criteria:
-
The project must benefit a part or all of South Florida including
Broward, Miami-Dade and/or Monroe Counties.
-
The project should restore, improve or develop an area for land conservation,
water management, community development or environmental enhancements.
-
The project must beneficially impact a community or group of communities,
economically and environmentally. No projects which provide direct
benefit to only one individual or organization will be considered.
-
The project must comply with all local codes, ordinances and laws.
All projects are reviewed and evaluated by the Board of Directors.
SFRC&D makes every effort to use qualified local contractors to perform
work. If no qualified, local contractors are available, contractors
from outside the area will then be investigated. The decision of
the Board is final.
